I've been searching in bing for some items and fortuitously found this www.eurocriticsmagazine.com blog. I'm so amazed by your way of thinking and writing. Have you thought about writing a book?

I toyed with writing another X Factor article but this weekend's shows were so depressing I simply couldn't bring myself to do it.

Fittingly for Halloween weekend, The X Factor successfully reduced the troubled world of Rock from an art form to light entertainment.

This was the week that Rock officially died, as one X Factor contestant after another stamped on the corpse, usually accompanied by some utterly pointless dancers.

Even the one notional "rocker", Jamie Archer, turned in a performance full of kitsch blandness that made me want to kill something.

The night was reduced to utter comic tomfoolery when Louis Walsh rubbished Archer for not being a rocker, as though the man responsible for the three buckets of puke known as Johnny Logan, Take That tribute band Boyzone and Boyzone tribute band Westlife (signed by Simon Cowell as it happens), as well as various other art crimes, would actually know what Rock was!

For the second week in a row, the most entertaining performance was by the twins of the year, John & Edward, who - although they have no chance - I hope win the contest just to see the look on Simon Cowell's face, whilst the least embarrassing performances were by Stacey Solomon and Rachel Adedeji.

The latter then had to suffer the totally undeserved torture of a third week as one of the bottom two and duly exited the show, thereby maintaining The X Factor's perfect record of removing artists from the show in favour of entertainers.
