Oh how sweet...I want a chicken! Now I have no idea what to cook for dinner. There won't be any meat on our table tonight!

If anyone can help Little Hen Rescue rehome 11,000 hens before the end of June, please go to http://www.littlehenrescue.co.uk and fill in a contact form. Collection points in Norwich and Lincolnshire and possibly drivers taking them further afield if enough interest.

This is our BIGGEST rescue so far (the previous largest was 3000) We need help. Donations or low price trailer rentals/ hen crates and PEOPLE who can handle hens and help us.

We have sent lots of press releases out, still loads to do but any offers of help are going to be gratefully received.
I will keep trying to save these girls until every door has been shut in my face and I've reached the end of every road.

Lyn- Lincs Coordinator (LHR)

PS If anyone has a barn/fields/stables/sheds etc within half an hour of Sutton Bridge/Kings Lynn that could be used for some of the hens until they are rehomed it would be a godsend. There MUST be farmers with buildings sitting empty. Please help if you can. I will spend my days there with the hens and take care of their needs with help at my end.
